Daytime Cocktail Special: Blackberry Gimlet
In 1867, the Merchant Shipping Act was passed requiring every ship to serve lime juice as its daily rotation to prevent scurvy. By 1879, Surgeon Rear-Admiral Sir Thomas Desmond Gimlette prescribed that gin be mixed into the daily rotation to mask the bitterness and ensure his fellow officers consumed their medicine. Going back to the historical classic that saved many in the British Royal Navy, we are going to do a little twist on this classic and add some blackberry shrub for a refreshing, fruity sipper. Don’t forget to take your medicine.
Enjoy a Special Daytime Price of $6.50 until 4 pm.
